For whom
Watercolor courses are designed for both beginning little artists and for those who are older and have mastered watercolors, but want to master new techniques and paint beautifully. After several months of classes, students win painting competitions and participate in international exhibitions.
It is never too late for adults to start painting. I will help you quickly master what you have long dreamed of. You will succeed. For adults, I offer not only watercolor lessons, but also oil painting lessons on canvas.
We can teach by watercolor in English language.

What will you get
You will learn how to work with watercolors, create light and shadow in paintings, your artworks will glow and be unlike the works of others.
The program will differ from the standard taught in schools. The special feature of the course is mastering the technique of painting with watercolors “wet on wet”.
Those who will study oil painting will be able to quickly master various techniques and create paintings for the home, for interiors, for gifts and for participation in exhibitions.

Course duration
I recommend studying at least twice a week, this will allow you to master the writing technique consistently and not relax, from experience I know that once a week is not enough for such studies. The course is designed for a year.

What are we going to draw and how?
What can watercolor do?
We get acquainted with watercolor and its unique properties — no other type of painting is able to convey the same quality and such technique. The peculiarity of watercolor on wet is its unpredictability and ability to finish the picture for you. You need to be able to control the spreading paint when there is a lot of water and a lot of watercolors.
The result is unique works that are sometimes simply impossible to repeat. We get acquainted with 100% cotton paper — special paper gives special effects and special pleasure.
Drawing with light and color
What will we paint? Our program includes beautiful landscape scenes, we will learn to convey the mood of summer, spring, winter, sunny snow, we will paint wild flowers, complex architectural structures, and old village houses, we will learn to draw funny cartoon animals from familiar fairy tales, as well as invent and depict our own characters.
Adults will be able to paint a picture of any size to decorate home interior or a picture as a gift.
We paint from the life
We will paint your favorite objects from life — flowers, leaves, toys, sweets, fruits, berries, vegetables and we can paint whatever you want.
We participate in exhibitions
After we learn to master color and light, after a few months we usually start taking part in group painting exhibitions. Our students win prizes at many exhibitions. We recommend which exhibitions make sense to participate in and assist in sending works to competitions and exhibitions.
Diplomas
Those who successfully complete the course at Irene Postolnaya’s school receive diplomas of painting training according to the author’s program. Participants in competitions and exhibitions also receive diplomas.

Author of the course
From an early age I was passionate about art and visual solar perception of the world, I drew a lot in childhood, studied painting.
However, I began to seriously engage in painting only in adulthood. Having received a number of additional educations, mastering more and more new techniques, I came to my own method of painting with watercolors and oils. Having successfully introduced the author’s technique into the training program for children and adults, I realized that in this way the student easily masters what previously seemed incomprehensible and difficult.
With children through play and wow effects, with adults through understanding their practical needs — some create original works for exhibitions, others decorate their homes and paint furniture and walls.
There is an approach for everyone so that a person gets great pleasure from drawing.
